producing large clutches (5 to 8 eggs per clutch), and have produced both Green

They are both in beautiful feather and have
GORGEOUS coloring! The male's collar has a lot of yellow in it.

Below: Photos of some of our chicks from

fluorescent-like coloring.

March
2004 - Fledglings From left to right - Seagreen Opaline, Whitefaced Blue
Opaline, Whitefaced Violet Opaline, Medium Green Violet Opaline & Green Pied Opaline.

Pictured above: Shasta, a young, Medium Seagreen Violet Opaline,
guaranteed split to Lutino.
He is showing the distinctive Opaline hood at
an early age.
If bred to even a normal colored hen, he will produce all visual Opaline
daughters (some of which will be Lutino Opaline!), and all of the sons produced
will be split to Opaline.
The 2nd & 3rd photos show him during his first molt at 4+ months of age,
late February 2004.
He actually has a darker, blue-green cast to his feathers that does not show as
well in photographs.
Molting his baby gray hood feathers, his hood is emerging as a rich, cream
color with a pale, peach-colored tint adorned by an apricot-colored crown.
